Position: Upholstery Technician I
Location: GAC Savannah – Savannah, GA
Shift: 1st Shift (5:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Employment: 48 months
Pay Rate: $23.31/hr
Position Purpose
Support aircraft interior production by fabricating, covering, and installing upholstery components according to design drawings and specifications.
Essential Job Functions

Fabricate and install interior panels, curtains, and simple sewn covers using engineering drawings.

Work with a variety of materials including fabric, vinyl, leather, carpet, composites, and adhesives.

Cut, surge, and install carpet; cover bulkheads, sidewalls, hatch panels, and similar components.

Safely operate sewing machines, hand tools, and power tools.

Use the material tracking system to request parts, update task status, and sign off completed work.

Follow all safety, 5S, and housekeeping procedures.
Additional Expectations

Collaborate with leads and senior technicians to support process improvements.

Identify and report unsafe conditions.

Perform other duties as assigned.
