Join Smurfit WestRock as a Utility Worker III at their Delaware Water Gap facility, supporting heavy industrial paper mill operations that serve e-commerce, food & beverage, retail, and manufacturing customers.

? Work Environment: Heavy industrial manufacturing, paper mill operations

? What's a typical day as a Utility Worker III? You will:

  • Perform general labor tasks including sweeping, shoveling, picking up paper, and industrial cleaning duties.

  • Operate forklifts to move paper rolls, pallets, and materials throughout the facility (training provided).

  • Safely handle chemicals and operate core-cutting equipment used in paper core production.

  • Support material handling, production changeovers, and various utility tasks as assigned by supervisors.

  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies.

  • Lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs while working in hot, cold, and industrial conditions.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • Experience in heavy industrial labor or fast-paced manufacturing environments.

  • Material handling or forklift experience (or willingness to learn).

  • Strong attention to safety and ability to follow compliance standards.

  • High physical endurance and comfort working around machinery and variable temperatures.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate tasks with coworkers and supervisors.
