Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Worker (with Driving Duties Upon Hire)
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $17–$19/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Full-Time 8am-5pm
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Worker to join our team. This role will start as a warehouse-based position focused on shipping and receiving operations. Once hired on permanently, driving duties will be added to support local deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, unpack, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.

Package and prepare outgoing shipments using appropriate methods and documentation (e.g., packing lists, bills of lading).

Maintain inventory accuracy through regular reconciliation and cycle counts.

Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification preferred).

Organize and maintain clean, safe, and efficient warehouse space.

Make local deliveries to customers and vendors (driving duties to be added post-hire).

Adhere to all company and safety policies.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
Qualifications:

1–2 years of warehouse/shipping & receiving experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

Experience using RF scanners is a plus.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.

Must be comfortable working in a moderately noisy warehouse environment.
