Warehouse Inventory Clerk  (2nd Shift/Evenings)
Location: Round Lake, IL
Pay Rate: $16.20 per hour

Kelly is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Clerk III to work the 2nd shift (evenings) at our Round Lake, IL location. This vital role supports our warehouse operations through inventory control, problem-solving, and efficient material handling. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor warehouse inventory tracking
• Reconcile discrepancies across inventory records
• Train company personnel on inventory processes and procedures
• Conduct daily cycle counts across various warehouse locations
• Use PCs or RF terminals to access JDE, GME, and C3ME systems
• Monitor and optimize warehouse utilization
• Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers
• Process and stage damaged products according to company SOPs
• Utilize additional warehouse equipment (box lifter, reefer, bailer, etc.)
• Operate forklifts, walkie riders, straight trucks, and tractor trailers as needed
• Manage unloading, receiving, locating, picking, releasing, P.O. inquiries, packing slips, and delivery of production/MRO items
• Build and transport finished good loads for shipment, including batch management for retentions and inventory status updates
• Work mandatory overtime as business demands
• Learn and assist with Analyst, Inventory responsibilities and other duties as assigned

Work Environment

• Work in frozen environments (-15°F) for up to 5 hours/day
• Remaining time spent in environments ranging from 40°F to 105°F

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Accurate documentation skills
• Interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, JDE, GME, C3ME systems)
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures and GMPs preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in GMP environments preferred

Language & Mathematical Skills

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to perform basic math: counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division (calculator provided)
• Capable of reading and applying SOPs, job training materials, GMPs, and specifications

Reasoning & Problem-Solving

• Make independent decisions within SOP guidelines
• Prioritize tasks, release products, and refer issues to appropriate personnel as needed

Certificates & Licenses

• Valid driver's license
• Valid forklift operator certification

Physical Demands

• Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin drugs
• Visual acuity of 20/40 near vision (with or without correction)
• Frequently lift up to 70 lbs and occasionally up to 100+ lbs
• Constant bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping
• Frequent kneeling, squatting, and wrist turning
• Occasional crawling, climbing, and pinching
• Ability to hear at least 25 dB
