Logistics Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Warehouse Logistics Specialist to support material handling, inventory management, and shipping/receiving operations within our facility. This role requires strict adherence to cGMP procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance to ensure efficient and accurate material movement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload materials between dock and truck using appropriate equipment (e.g., hand truck).
  • Transport materials between locations within the facility and update inventory status accordingly.
  • Process received materials per established procedures, with priority on temperature-sensitive shipments.
  • Deliver shipments to the appropriate departments in a timely manner.
  • Prepare work-in-process (WIP) and lot-specific kits to support manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct material sampling and complete QC test requests for raw material testing.
  • Maintain accurate inventory logs for all manufacturing components and generate inventory reports.
  • Perform cycle counts, monitor expiration dates, and ensure proper material storage organization.
  • Issue lot numbers to incoming materials following established protocols.
  • Complete and update receiving logs and chain of custody forms as required.
  • Conduct material handling operations in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Attend semi-annual DOT and IATA training as required for compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Ensure all operations align with cGMP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in logistics, material handling, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with cGMP procedures and inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment and follow safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
