Job Description:
The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for the physical loading and unloading of all inbound and outbound shipments, overseeing the flow of materials through the supply chain. They must read work orders and follow oral instructions to perform inventory tasks, including maintaining warehouse housekeeping activities. The role requires implementing safe operation practices for all equipment, as well as managing various materials and products related to both inbound and outbound loads. Ensuring shipping and receiving accuracy is essential, particularly concerning the quantity and quality of expensive and hazardous materials. The Team Lead is also accountable for personal health and safety, adhering to OSHA requirements.
Shift: 2nd shift, 3pm-11.30pm MON-FRI (plus occasional mandatory OT on SAT)
Payrate: $20/hr
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience managing people
- Experience with warehousing/Distribution or manufacturing ops.
- Forklift experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years minimum experience in warehousing or similar position. Occasionally heavy lifting.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communications, as well as interpersonal skills
- Forklift, pallet jack and dolly experience. Knowledge of safety practices.
- Able to work under pressure in a physically demanding role.
