Kelly Services is excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Warranty Technical Specialist to support Nissan Canada.

This fully remote position is a 6 to 9-month assignment. 

Position Overview: Join our dynamic team and contribute your expertise to Nissan Canada's Warranty Department by providing warranty repair, diagnostic verification, validation, and approvals to dealerships and support the internal staff.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide automotive technical diagnostic validation support to dealer technicians to ensure proper warranty repairs on Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Verify dealer diagnostic and troubleshooting information on vehicle repairs and provide claims pre-approvals in line with Service Manuals, Technical Bulletins, Warranty Programs, and Warranty Administration policies.
  • Offer day-to-day warranty claim support to dealers, internal staff, and field staff, including warranty repair pre-approvals, post-repair approvals, and processing support.
  • Support NCI warranty team members in the technical review of warranty repairs/claim approvals.
  • Collaborate with Nissan Tech Line & Dealer Technical Support Managers, verifying dealer diagnostic and troubleshooting information.
  • Communicate with dealers, internal staff, and field staff through telephone, electronic communication, and live virtual platforms as necessary.
  • Log and document communications meticulously to ensure efficient repair and claims processing.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the automotive industry as a licensed automotive technician in a dealership environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair; proficiency in utilizing technical service manuals and tools.
  • Real seal interprovincial certification preferred.
  • Expertise in warranty claim processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Preferred bilingual skills in English/French (Verbal & Written).
  • Typing speed of 30 wpm or better.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
