Pay rate: $20/hour 
Schedule: 2nd shift  Monday - Friday 2:30pm -11:00pm 
Term: Temp to hire

What's a typical day as a Welder? You'll be:
• Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Setting up components for welding according to specifications.
• Operating angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
• Aligning components using calipers, rulers, etc. and clamping pieces.
• Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
• Repairing machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
• Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have proven experience as a welder.
• Have experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA, etc.).
• Are experienced in using electrical or manual tools (squares, calipers, etc.).
• Have the ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Have knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing.
• Have deftness and attention to detail.
• Are proficient in English.
• Have successfully completed a relevant apprenticeship program.
• Have a professional certification (e.g., an AWS welding certificate) (preferred).
• Have a CWI or CRAWL certification (preferred).
• Have at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
