Pay Range for this position is: $82,000-$123,000 plus annual bonus, depending on experience.





POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Commercialization Project Lead reports to the Sr Manager, Commercialization and is based out of our Cherry Hill, NJ location. This individual will be responsible for leading the project management for new products launches. This person will create and execute a project timeline from packaging development and ingredient sourcing through production and shipment.  It's a great place to learn all about the consumer products industry and work directly with top retailers.

 

 

 

Primary Responsibilities include:

 

  • Responsible for 1/3 of the new initiative pipeline (inclusive of new items, product line extensions, product changes, capacity expansion initiatives, etc.) in a highly complex manufacturing network 

 

  • Plan, track, execute, and deliver on the successful launch of new or seasonal items

 

  • Create a realistic project timeline based on customer-specific requirements, unique component lead times, and supply chain process constraints, and provide to Sales for alignment. 

 

  • Actively manage the project to ensure external and internal groups adhere to key milestone deadlines.  

Drive deliverables and troubleshoot issues. 

 

  • Coordinate the activities of many key internal departments (Sales, Materials Management, R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.) 

 

  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout project execution. Communicate risks and status to Sales

 

  • Lead weekly cross-functional meetings to align on project status and assign action items

 

  • Continuously seek to improve the launch process and provide a better experience for our customers.  
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field 
  • 2-4 years previous experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different functional areas 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate within a cross-functional team environment
  • Resilient and results-driven
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze information
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Effective time management skills to maintain multiple projects

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Familiar with a manufacturing process
  • Knowledge of the CPG industry

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

 

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.

 

FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.

 

OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 20 – 35 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.

 

VISION: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.

 

HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
