POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Brand Manager of Marketing and is based out of our Cherry Hill, NJ location. This individual will work specifically with the Marketing Team, as well as several internal departments and outside agencies, to develop high quality marketing assets, coordinate meetings and events, assist with insight gathering and analysis, support product development and lifecycle management and maintain detailed budget oversight.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive annual marketing plans to steward US Brands and achieve stated business objectives
- Assist internal and external partners in creating and delivering marketing assets, physical mock-ups, new item/innovation samples, etc. in support of advertising, shopper marketing, consumer promotion and customer sales efforts
- Support new product development and lifecycle management, including Stage Gate process management, securing alignment on product packaging, label design and general marketing claims through legal and regulatory approval process, ensuring Brand equity delivery across all assets
- Conduct data analysis, including monitoring of in-market performance of category and brands, building custom reports, and partnering with Consumer Insights Team on ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Assist team in creating dynamic, consumer & customer driven presentations
- Budget management support, including leading invoicing process for Marketing and Consumer Insights
- Handle management of all project meetings and timelines, hold key stakeholders accountable to ensure all efforts stay on track
- Partner with Sales team to coordinate national sales meeting and trade shows, assist in development of all meeting materials
- Assist team in continual optimization of internal business processes, data organization, and cross functional support
- Performs other related duties
- Available to travel out of state/country when required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or other related field
- Successful marketing related experience within CPG or other relevant industry
- Budget or P&L management experience
- Proven organizational, time-management and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and be a strong collaborator in a cross-functional team
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Live within daily driving distance of Cherry Hill, NJ office headquarters; work at headquarters minimum of 3 day per week as needed.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Launched new item(s) in-market via cross functional commercialization process
- Understanding of Circana, Neilson, Mintel metrics and database usage
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.
FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.
OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 20 – 35 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.
VISION: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.
HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
