Remote Position supporting Central and East time zone

As a software engineer you will be working within a team that develops, tests and maintains a full stack suite of manufacturing execution system tools. You will have exposure to cutting edge languages and frameworks within a role that supports our internal manufacturing operations, process engineering and materials processing.

• Responsible for software engineering tasks including requirements/user story definition, software application and library design, implementation, integration, verification, validation and maintenance.
• Responsible for adhering to Leonardo DRS engineering processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• 0+ years of experience in full stack web development/software engineering
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity/experience with at least two of the following languages: JavaScript, Python, or Go
• Familiarity with databases including relational and/or document databases
• Familiarity with source control systems such as git
• College level mathematics (calculus, statistics, linear algebra, etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new software engineering technologies and methodologies
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and within the framework of a multi-discipline team

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
