Job Summary

Job duties consist of data collection, analysis to assist quality engineer and management in assessing measures of performance. Evaluate Quality data collection systems and processes to determine whether these data collection processes adequately depict the quality of products and processes involving suppliers, manufacturing test and life cycle management. Ensures that quality control procedures adequately evaluate an organization's products. Determines if current methods and techniques result in meeting reliability standards or require modification. Support projects and processes that ensure continuously improving value to our customers and business units.

Job Responsibilities
  • Corrective Action System Control
    • Monitor status of all corrective actions
    • Guide corrective action owners through the investigation process
    • Initiate corrective action requests and ensure complete and thorough records are generated
    • Evaluate process metrics/performance and drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness

 

  • Internal Audit Support
    • Participate as an audit lead in the internal audit process
    • Execute audits and issue audit reports across all areas of the business
    • Prepare audit plans and checklists in preparation of audit activity
    • Identify high risk areas in the business that could impact internal or external delivered quality or on-time delivery issues
    • Investigate internal audit-related findings and helps coordinate activities to resolve issues
    • Document audit findings, review with process stakeholders and initiate corrective actions where necessary

 

  • Quality Management System
    • Assist with the governance of all types of management system documentation, including initial release, annual review, and change management activities
    • Provide Quality Management System overview training
    • Assist with status reporting both internal and external to the company

  • Work with quality management and support staff to develop solutions to help manage variability

  • Initiate quality alerts for potential process and product discrepancies that may affect performance
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years relevent experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
