Job Summary
Coordinate and support the Learning Management tool and database for the Lexington Medical Center (LMC). This position will be responsible for working in the database, running reports and training on the LMS to end users to include department heads, Staff Development, Clinical Education and other entities. This position will also handle all record keeping, tracking and administrative LMS functions.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years of experience working with Content Development Learning systems; Computer systems, web design, Virtual platforms and support in a helpdesk type setting

Required Certifications/Licensure: None.
Required Training: Highly skilled in Microsoft computer applications specifically office related software and the use of web browsers.
- Assist Staff Development team in development of goals related to E-Learning & Alternate Staff Development options. These are determined based on hospital priorities and by assessing performance gaps.
- Based on organizational needs, plans, coordinates and implements E-Learning training programs.
- Incorporates instructional design techniques to facilitate effective learning into SD programs.
- Creates self-study training and reference & take away materials.
- Research, Recommend & Determine best training methods for learning objectives (i.e., individual training, web conference, E-learning, video, classroom, OJT, workshops).
- Conducts training sessions with designated training method including but not limited to web solutions.
- Coordinate all aspects of Computer Training and acts as content expert to customers.
- Responsible for measurement of training and non-training services provided by staff development and reporting back to manager.
- Promotes classes/programs by developing materials and using different forms of media to communicate.
- Develops/designs/produces interactive media training programs using in-house and vendor solutions. Develop E-Learning courses to provide additional access.
- Manages the Learning Management System for LMC.
- Creates and distributes competency, compliance and hospital specific training.
- Maintains and reports record of instructional development and resource utilization.
- Provides support and training to employees in the use of Learning Management System and the student interface.
- Creates up to date & relevant computer based training modules.
- Collaborates with others to create department specific computer based training modules.
- Assigns curricula, people groups, resources, reports, computer based learners, and super users in the Learning Management System.
- Serves as the liaison for trouble shooting from LMC IT department and the Learning Management System technical Tech support.
- Maintains current information on all aspects of national policies.
- Coordination and keeps other coordinators and director informed.
- Represents the hospital at meetings and conferences with other agencies and organizations.
- Maintains membership in relevant organizations and actively participate in such organizations.
- Attends meetings, workshops, and seminars to keep abreast of new ideas and trends in education.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
