Maimonides Health has an immediate opportunity for a Pediatric Urologist. This full-time faculty position is based at the Maimonides Medical Center, the largest tertiary-care hospital in Brooklyn, and is supported by an established patient base through the Medical Center's faculty, community physician network, and alignment with multiple Independent Practice Associations (IPAs). Resources include the Maimonides Cancer Center - the only free-standing cancer center in Brooklyn, with a draw area of 2.7 million and with dedicated Pediatric Oncologists and separate Pediatric infusion unit; the Maimonides Children's Hospital - with dedicated Emergency Department, Pediatric and Neonatal ICUs and wards, and a full range of Pediatric specialist physicians including Orthopedics, Endocrinology, ENT, Nephrology, Adolescent Medicine and Critical Care; a competitive ACGME-accredited Urology residency program; modern operating rooms with 5 daVinci Xi robots; and a supportive urology faculty group with a full complement of urologic specialists.
The successful candidate will be a board-eligible or board-certified graduate of a urology residency program and Society of Pediatric Urology (SPU) Pediatric Urology Fellowship. Visas acceptable.
Salary range: $425K-$550K based on national benchmarks; final compensation to be determined based on years of experience and other factors.
