Position Summary As part of the Infrastructure Team, this position will work both within the team and across Mary Greeley IT to design, implement and support the infrastructure necessary for the successful operations of the Medical Center. They#ll work closely with the Manager and the Enterprise IT Architect to ensure system designs align with all strategic and operational principals. They will also work with Infrastructure staff from McFarland Clinic in the support of shared infrastructure owned by Health Ventures of Central Iowa. Position Responsibilities Unit Specific Position Responsibilities erforms high level work on both on prem and cloud infrastructure. Systems will include virtual servers, enterprise storage including replication strategies, backup systems, Azure AD, Identity Management, etc.# Implements and maintains solutions in a Hybrid IT environment, utilizing both on-premise and cloud compute environments.# Designs, Plans, Implements and Supports hardware, operating systems, network services such as DNS, DHCP, Domain Group Policy, etc.# Migrates on-premise workload(s) to cloud service provider(s) as is deemed appropriate and valuable to MGMC.# o M365 and Azure Cloud Services# Designs, implements and administers cloud identity solutions. Manages and maintains cloud identities used by MGMC.## o Azure Active Directory# o Azure AD Connect# Designs, manages and maintains SSO integrations between MGMC Cloud IDaaS solution and other SaaS applications.## o Azure AD SSO# Focuses on the automation of all above processes using industry best practices to create efficiencies and reduce errors.## o Shares information on automation with other team members and helps drive adoption and improvements in these areas.# Qualifications, Knowledge # Experience Required Qualifications (Including any licensure, certification, education): Bachelor#s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field; Or, Expert Level Certification in one of the core system areas: ex. Microsoft MCSE, VMWare VCDX, SANS Security CISSP. Or minimum of six years of demonstrated relevant experience. Organizational Requirements: Maintain stroke education per regulatory requirements. # Preferred Qualifications: None # Required Knowledge, Skills # Experience: A minimum of six years of demonstrated expert level skills and knowledge in one or more of the following core system areas: Microsoft server operating systems, LAN/WAN infrastructure, virtual servers # storage management, software application systems, system security, or system interfaces. Demonstrated experience with automation of tasks and deployments using Powershell, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker or similar. Demonstrated ability to design and manage highly available and self-healing infrastructure. Ability to interact with staff, physicians, visitors, consultants, and vendors in a helpful and positive manner. Ability to handle multiple requests/needs simultaneously; ability to remain calm when experiencing critical system issues. Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion, especially when handling confidential information. Excellent customer service and project management skills. Ability to plan, organize, implement, and document complex systems and to configure systems to be consistent with medical center policies and procedures. Ability to quickly and completely solve complex, inter-related problems using hardware/software research and analysis tools. # Preferred Knowledge, Skills # Experience: Previous experience in a hospital information systems department Previous experience with electronic health record management systems Previous experience with Microsoft O365, Google G-Suite, or other cloud productivity solutions Previous experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS administration Previous experience with cloud Identity and Access Management solutions such as Azure Active Directory Previous experience with cloud security solutions Previous experience with infrastructure automation through scripting, playbooks, etc
