Title and Summary
Customer Experience and Design Intern, Summer 2026 - St. Louis, MO This role is not eligible for Mastercard's work authorization sponsorship. About the Team
The Voice of the Customer (VoC) Center of Excellence is Mastercard's strategic hub for transforming customer feedback into actionable insights that drive innovation, elevate service quality, and shape customer-centric experiences across the organization.
We listen, analyze, and enable:
- Listen: We gather feedback through surveys, support interactions, in-app feedback, and phone calls—covering both B2B and B2C touchpoints.
- Analyze: Using advanced tools like Qualtrics, Tableau, and speech/text analytics, we uncover trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Enable: We deliver insights to product, delivery, and service teams—empowering them to make data-driven decisions that enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and usability.
By embedding the voice of the customer into every layer of decision-making, we help Mastercard deliver world-class experiences and maintain its competitive edge:

Internship Program
Mastercard's summer internship program provides emerging talent with projects that will enhance skills as well as contribute to the department's goals and objectives. In this program, you will participate in:

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a business focus and a graduation date of Winter 2026 – Spring 2027
- Previous internship or class project experience with analytics, ideally using Qualtrics
- Familiar with speech/text analytics
- Experience conducting market research
- Experience with voice of the customer, or strong customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
