Title and Summary

Director, Business Administration & Excellence CNPF (Europe) Overview
The Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF) team in Europe is seeking a director to drive our CNPF strategy and execution forward by working together with cross-functional and cross-country teams. The Mission of the Business Administration & Excellence function is to provide thought leadership to the Management Team and ensure the goals and objectives of the CNPF Europe are successfully executed in the market. The role requires instituting an internal/external consultative approach to help the business to achieve its business objectives. The individual is expected to gather and analyze information, formulate, and test hypothesis, develop and communicate recommendations with a clear execution mindset. The role will be expected to keep track of KPIs, external drivers and also undertake work to support the build/buy strategy, via market scans. Reporting directly to the EVP, CNPF Europe the role will support the CNPF Leadership Team and work closely with all the divisional teams and the Services teams in the markets. The role will also involve development of documents

Role
• Lead strategic projects for the CNPF Europe Organization, structuring complex challenges and delivering data-driven, fact-based solutions
• Lead Strategic projects for the CNPF Europe Organisation (design and execution), structuring ambiguous problems and take action to solve them with a consultative approach
• Build strong business partnerships with leaders in the divisions/countries, Europe Pricing & strategy team and Services team
• Help business leaders across the region gain key insights into business performance by market and segment, and identify key strategic priorities
• Support the CNPF EVP, and broader leadership team, on time sensitive requirements/projects
• Contribute to the strategic planning process, and contribute to the development of execution plans against strategic plan; Monitor and drive progress against the plan
• Proactively assess the economic landscape of key markets and articulate how it will influence Mastercard's business and key account objectives.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of monitoring dashboards to track key financial and market metrics

All About You
• Extensive experience in Consulting and managing large scale project execution and also in planning roles, with strong analytics experience and ability to work with large datasets and integrate diverse data sources to drive decision-making
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey strategic vision and roadmaps to both internal and external stakeholders and ability to influence at the highest levels
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence key stakeholders; ability to build and to maintain relationships at multiple levels of the organization
• Experience working across business units, functions, and international markets in a collaborative environment
• Track record of thought leadership, within the payments industry and knowledge of CNPF
• A customer-focused, team-oriented, and solution-driven approach
• MBA with degree in Economics or Engineering
• Proficient in Excel and power point; knowledge of Data analytics tools and coding is plus (Alteryx, Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong sense of urgency, comfortable operating in a fast paced and changing environment
