Title and Summary

Director, Product Management Overview
Lead the Product Development and Product Management of Mastercard One in US and Canada.

Role
• Drives New Product Development of Mastercard One, including exploration of new opportunity spaces, contributing to Product strategy and partnering with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deliver new Products that drive incremental revenues for Mastercard
• Demonstrates a full understanding of market dynamics including Regulatory, Legal, Competitive and Technology landscapes
• Evaluates and prioritizes NAM product ideas, markets and opportunities and determines with which projects to initiate the development process
• Leverages the Studio Framework to validate market opportunity can be effectively monetized by Mastercard
• Following successful Prototyping, leverage a thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle to partner with Product Management – Technical and Software Development Guilds to develop scalable Products for launch, ensuring that initial build effort concludes on time and budget
• Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders in Legal, Data Privacy, Delivery, Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc. to ensure that the new Product has a robust go-to-market plan focused on speed to market and ease of delivery
• Partner with Servicing teams (e.g. GCC, CTS, Biz Ops) to ensure that the new Product has a robust E2E servicing plan that enables a great end user and customer experience
• Partners with Global Product Management to Commercialize Mastercard One in NAM
• Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation (e.g., support documents) across the Studio framework
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences
• Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviors through their behavior, recognitions, coaching, and employee engagement.

All About You
• Strong understanding of the 4-party network model is a must
• Extensive card network and/or card processing experience; strong understanding of card
operations, reconciliation, and supporting data analytics
• Deep understanding of Issuer Processing and Acquirer/Payment Facilitator roles.
• Understand of the Card - Terminal EMV processing is a plus
• Agile product management experience in analytical solutions designed for payments or a related financial services sectors preferred
• Analytical, solutions-oriented skillset with the ability to drive thought leadership
• Strategic mind set to solve complex and ambiguous problems
• Proven track record collaborating in cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding products and features
• Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant experience; MBA a plus
• Experience of developing and driving end to end execution of initiatives – particularly in a cross-functional environment, managing and prioritizing competing initiatives
• Strong communication & influencing skills to work with internal and external stakeholders, with ability to clearly articulate problem statements and opportunity areas

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
