Title and Summary

Director, Product Operations Overview:
The Director, Network Products will join a team responsible for driving Network Product's strategy, roadmap, and execution for Mastercard's global core payments network. This network is Mastercard's core strategic asset, generating over $10 billion in revenue, enabling more than 150 billion transactions annually, and providing the platform for key products and services.

Responsibilities:
- Own strategic development roadmaps and manage a backlog of over 80 critical initiatives.
- Define, prioritize, and manage the execution of various strategic enhancements.
- Understand how each initiative contributes to the overall strategy and manage associated risks to delivery timelines.

Key Duties:
- Engage internal product teams and business owners to identify and understand network enhancements.
- Facilitate prioritization trade-off conversations with senior leaders, using subject matter expertise to inform recommendations.
- Proactively manage dependencies and risks across product lines supporting technology teams.
- Collaborate closely with internal technology teams to develop a clear perspective on the systems and technical challenges behind business needs or problem statements.
- Develop narratives and visuals, marshaling facts and analysis to support recommendations, present them to key decision-makers, and drive alignment among teams and support from leadership.
- Work with technical partners to estimate the cost of proposed enhancements, prioritize them, and propose roadmaps for network components.
- Internally manage the prioritization of all products and service offerings.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with executives on the status of strategic efforts.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the organization, enabling collaboration and transparency as product offerings scale.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in payments and Mastercard Payment Network platforms preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate at an executive level, seeing the bigger picture and proactively addressing concerns.
- Self-starter and quick learner with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments; flexibility to handle rapidly changing scenarios.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and manage complex projects; successfully manage multiple responsibilities and tasks.
- Willingness to dive deep and learn about technology, system structure, and rules.
- Strong analytical, data, and problem-solving skills.
- Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong visual presentation skills, including data visualization and the ability to produce clear, compelling slides.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
