Title and Summary

Enterprise Operations Engineer I Overview
• Globally partnering with Mastercard Stakeholder to deliver world class technical support for MasterCard infrastructures and applications which includes Network devices, Servers, Transactions switching, Mainframes and enabling growth, diversification and new business generation.
• Provide 24x7x365 technical operations support for MasterCard's global infrastructure; with focus on minimizing impact to our regional delivery points like Banks, Financial institutes across the world which are using Mastercard service for transaction processing, Mastercard Data Center, Mastercard Corporate office and internal Mastercard stakeholder.
• Monitor the infrastructure, and be a key stakeholder in MasterCard Incident, Change & problem Management processes.
• Regularly perform data analysis to determine MasterCard's performance and identify areas of improvement.

• Have you worked in a Network Operations Center or Technology Operations Center or Data Center environment?
• Do you like to triage and drive events and issue with infrastructure to resolution?
• Do you like to interact with Internet Service Provider, Network/Server Hardware Vendors and different technical teams within organization on a global scale?

Role
• Execute Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
• Perform effective vendor management techniques to ensure forward-progress managed Incidents.
• Monitor the performance of traffic, systems, and central site processing, addressing anomalies detected on any of the transactions.
• Conduct quarterly Release and patch rollout for European authorization system
• Route central site and customer traffic as necessary to minimize downtime and impact to the brand and business.
• Monitored network performance and uptime and responded quickly to incidents.
• Monitor/Troubleshoot issues with LAN/WAN connectivity in the infrastructure
• Upgraded system hardware, network hardware and IOS upgrades
• Kept system at maximum uptime through proactive oversight and scheduled maintenance.

All about You
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Assisted with deployment and troubleshooting of various network devices and services, including Cisco routers, switches & firewalls, Wireless LAN, SD-WAN, Load Balancers, MIP servers
• Performed network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixed and security configurations
• Monitored performance and ensured system availability and reliability
• Monitored system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Provided level - 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Worked within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Intermediate-level knowledge of routing, switching, tunneling, and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).
• Demonstrates the ability to function in 3 of the following disciplines: UNIX,
Mainframe, Production Control, File Transfer, Single-Message, Dual-Message, or Network), and has intermediate-level understanding in at least 2 areas.
• Basic UNIX scripting and tool monitoring, JCL, MVS, batch scheduling, knowledge of tandem technology.
• Effective problem and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective organization and interpersonal skills
