Overview
The Data & Analytics team is looking for a Lead Product Manager Technical in cloud data platform space (Databricks and Snowflake) to drive our mission to unlock potential of data assets by consistently innovating, eliminating friction in how users access data from its repositories, generate insights and deliver those to end consumer. The Mastercard Data platforms are used to build AI products, deliver insights and reporting capabilities to a wide group of users across the organization in order to support business decisioning and growth drivers of various products/solutions. This position will manage stakeholders of new / existing products, define and maintain product roadmaps, and work with engineering teams to drive those roadmaps. The role will be central interface between data platform teams and product delivery.

Role
• Work with business teams to understand their business / product requirement
• Contribute with functional and technical knowledge towards design and development of high quality, secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements specifications and design artefacts within expected time and budget
• Define and describe the details behind the business requirements, specifications, and user experience as defined in the Product Roadmap so that there are always prioritized and “SDE ready” features and user stories.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Project Management – Technical, Software Development) to design, develop and deliver new Products that drive incremental revenues for Mastercard.
• Understands business context and market dynamics including Regulatory, Legal, Competitive and Technology landscapes.
• Drive product operations of the program that includes usage pattern, unit cost trends, departmental adoption and more.
• Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation
• Optimizing the approach by being experts in their domain and providing insight into tradeoffs and what will ultimately be built.
• Provide technology leadership to other leaders in big data and cloud data platform space.
• Stay abreast of Analytics technology trends and industry best practices to hone and maintain your talent
• Participate in architectural discussions, iteration planning, and feature sizing meetings
• Provide support during System and User Acceptance Testing
• Adhere to Agile processes and participate actively in agile ceremonies
All About You
• Minimum 12 years of experience in IT in the area of Requirement management, Business analysis, Data warehousing, OnPrem / Cloud data platforms
• Understanding of IT systems and/or products and supporting cloud data platforms, BI reporting, ETL solutions and other analytics solutions.
• Understanding of Agile processes.
• Strong SQL programming skills
• Hands on in one or more analytics tools like Tableau, Looker, Power BI and other similar.
• Good understanding of Big data technologies and concepts - on premise and cloud.
• In depth practical experience on cloud technology stack - Databricks, Snowflake, AWS and/or Azure.
• Practical understanding of Product management and Product development principles.
• Strong product mindset.
• Good understanding of Advanced analytics like predictive and prescriptive analytics
• Exposure to Python, Scala, Spark, Cloud services and other related tools / technologies will be a plus
• Strong RDBMS understanding.
• Understanding of Exadata/Oracle/Netezza/SQL server or any other relational databases
• Have product build out mindset and prior experience in supporting technology teams building products
• Exposure and understanding of complete SDLC
• Good communication skill is mandatory
