Title and Summary

Lead Technical Program Manager Overview
The Open API team is responsible for developing and managing innovative API-based products that open up Mastercard's card network data and adhere to Mastercard's Data & Tech Responsibility Principles. Hosted on the Mastercard Developers portal, these API services enable new use cases and solutions that create value for our cardholders and business partners.
The Open API team is looking for a Technical Program Manager, Open API responsible for managing the planning, execution, and ensure timely completion of project deadlines and milestones for Transaction Notifications API and Bin Lookup API.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the project management, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, drives collaboration across multiple teams.

Role
As a Technical Program Manager, Open API, you will:
• Manage new and existing Open API product development.
• Act as Scrum Master/SAFe agilest, remove impediments with right sense of urgency, or guide teams in doing so.
• Coordinate with various technical groups in MasterCard across locations to ensure timely success of the projects.
• Being keenly aware of what is being delivered by the team and why, and the big program picture.
• Maintain, radiate, and present project related information, & metrics for leadership review
• Coordinate initiatives for automation, defect metrics and overall quality initiatives.
• Recommend strategic direction, continuous improvements, and policy changes.
• Advance operational and business concerns or issues relative to future business programs, projects, or enhancements that may affect consistent delivery of quality services.
• Lead Project/Program management activities around cost, schedule, quality etc.
• Guide, mentor & coach the team(s) on Agile Scrum principles.

All About You
The ideal candidate for this position offers:
• Strong understanding and experience in developing SaFe Agile applications.
• Good skills around leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvements, empowerment, and transparency
• Result Oriented Professional with knowledge and practice of patterns and techniques e.g. Burndown techniques, retrospective formats, defect handling etc.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills involving Business Owners, Development Teams etc. Ability to guide teams.
• Coordination and organization skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and vendors across locations to ensure success of the project.
• Strong understanding of project/program management techniques around cost, schedule, quality etc
• Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices.
