The Marketing Manager will be a key member of the East Arabia Division's Marketing & Communications team, responsible for leading strategic marketing initiatives across the UAE and Oman. This role focuses on enhancing Mastercard's brand equity, driving consumer engagement, and supporting business growth through integrated marketing efforts aligned with global strategies. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, commercially savvy marketer with expertise across B2C, B2B, and sponsorship marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the extended team to develop and execute the annual marketing and communications plan, aligning with business objectives and driving growth across issuers, merchants, and consumers.
Partner with the UAE & Oman Marketing Director to build local strategy and implementation for marketing programs ideation, program execution through to post market results tracking and analysis. Within this, responsible for providing marketing expertise with aim to provide the best customized solutions, which create long term value.
Develop compelling new marketing assets that issuing and merchant partners can leverage to grow card share and drive greater spend on Mastercard products.
Develop tailored marketing programs to increase MasterCard card issuance and usage. These activities include start-up and co-ordination of all related activities.
Design and implement brand-led and product-level marketing programs—including advertising, sponsorships, promotions, digital, and interactive initiatives—to deliver measurable business and brand impact.
Partner with Account Management teams to support business development efforts through innovative and customized marketing strategies.
Lead the planning and execution of high-impact customer events and experiences throughout the year.
Drive achievement of the Division's financial performance targets, brand health metrics, and marketing return on investment (ROI).
Execute targeted product and brand marketing initiatives to accelerate inbound, cross-border, and e-commerce transaction growth.
Manage multiple agency relationships, fostering innovation and ensuring excellence in campaign and communications delivery.
Optimize and elevate existing sponsorship programs to maximize brand visibility and consumer engagement.
Profile & Requirements
Experience: 8–12 years in marketing, with a mix of B2C, B2B, and PR communications.
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic.
Skills
Proven success in integrated marketing planning and execution.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to turn qualitative & quantitative data and information analysis into actionable 'insights'
Deep understanding and executional experience of media, digital, sponsorships, and events
Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation capabilities.
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
