The Commercial and New Payment Flows B2B Travel team focuses on building strategic partnerships with key travel industry players to shape the future of travel payments.
The Commercial and New Payment Flows B2B Travel team is looking for a Manager, to assure our travel solutions remain the best and most innovative in the market and our travcel industry partners have access to the best Mastercard solutions and experience available. The ideal candidate combines a strong technical and product knowledge with a passion to interact with customers and external partners, is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role
• Manage global accounts of key strategic partners to grow the existing business and to identify new partnership opportunities beyond the core of the relationship
• Support our partners in the growth and expansion plans from a business and operational perspective by driving joint opportunities individually and in partnership with other areas of the Mastercard organisation
• Engage and coordinate deal preparation, negotiation and contracting phases in collaboration with Finance, Legal and other relevant internal functions to execute commercial opportunities and drive growth
• Define a joint strategic and marketing plan for the partnerships including mapping an execution of business opportunities, sponsorship of industry events and joint thought leadership
• Assess and follow up trends and needs in the travel space with especial focus on B2B payments identifying new elements to add to our value proposition in the B2B Travel Industry
All About You
• Experience in Account Management and Business Development, preferably in B2B travel payments industry
• Excellent effective verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong collaborator, ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a highly cross-functional and international environment
• Self motivator / self starter and result oriented
• Strong planning, organizational and prioritization skills
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
