Overview:
The role of manager of Data Product Development in the Data Enablement org will be responsible for capturing requirements and helping to drive the roadmap for cloud and on-prem data products that will enable new and enhanced data-driven product and AI opportunities. This role will interact with stakeholders, including Mastercard product teams, to identify common data product requirements and work with technology stakeholders to build an internal data marketplace that will meet the strategic business objectives of the Data and AI organization.

Responsibilities:
• Manage Data and AI intake requirements for expanded enterprise data capabilities. Define value-driven requirements with clearly defined success criteria and deliver critical reusable data products to enable AI and product opportunities at scale.
• Assist in managing a prioritized data management and data product backlog. Work with business stakeholders, cross-functional engineering and data science teams, and advise on prioritization and efficiency opportunities.
• Identify impactful and efficient data products for data-focused innovation. Develop business cases, define KPIs, and document business benefits of the roadmap milestones.
• Conduct research to gather and leverage internal and market insights. Understand key challenges and trends to inform platform strategies, identify differentiated solutions, and enhance internal and external customer experiences through data.
• Create and maintain documentation and training content for teams on data products and data marketplaces.
• Drive the adoption of data products across the enterprise. Identify opportunities to scale to achieve efficiencies and collaborate with Data and AI operations to simplify and streamline operational processes.

All About You:
• 5+ years of experience in product delivery organizations, with the ability to successfully analyze business needs and deliver enterprise-grade global capabilities.
• Strong business and technology acumen, along with the ability to align to vision and strategy. Experience in building strategic product roadmaps with a passion to drive results in a collaborative manner.
• Comprehensive experience in agile delivery methodologies and creating requirements for engineering organizations.
• Analyze trend reports to come up with compelling solutions to complex problems. Define, develop, and execute data strategies that align with business objectives.
• Superior thought leadership, including strategic and conceptual thinking, to communicate in detail with technology teams as well as at a strategic level with senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all management levels. Ability to lead, influence, and negotiate to help arrive at solutions with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Degree in Computer Science, Product Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or proven equivalent experience in related disciplines.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.

Pay Ranges

O'Fallon, Missouri: $119,000 - $190,000 USD
