Overview:
The TECH finance team is looking for a Finance Manager to drive a broad range of finance related responsibilities supporting Mastercard Technology.
Activities include business case development across the team and P&L ownership for Technology divisions including financial reporting, annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, and managing opportunities and risks to support the business in delivering objectives while meeting financial targets.
This role will also manage our offshore financial analysts, supporting them with their divisional finance and business partnering responsibilities.
Role:
• Prepares annual budget and monthly forecasts as well as supporting overall planning processes
• Provides insights and financial reporting to management on actual results including analysis of opportunities & risks
• Identifies potential efficiencies within the programs and provides recommendations to operational leadership
• Leads business case cost estimation for strategic projects and coordinates reviews with impacted teams
• Assists with strategy and process improvements related to budgeting, forecasting, systems and other key areas to ensure alignment with market objectives; proactively identifies ways to improve processes and executes agreed upon improvements
• Partners closely with the Consolidations and Controller's groups to ensure strong coordination and end-to-end support across TECH Finance
• Embodies leading beyond finance by developing, running and maintaining financial/business models to analyze performance and business opportunities (e.g.. Dashboard, KPIs, financial & business metrics)
• People leader for offshore resource(s) and helping the onshore team with hand offs relating to P&L divisions managed by the offshore team
All About You:
• Experience in financial planning and analyzing financial results to support moderate-to-complex projects
• Ability to model and perform predictive analytics to review financial and operational metrics and results
• Demonstrates the ability to build internal and external business partnerships
• Collaborates well within a cross-functional team dynamic
• Experience with financial systems and applications (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle)
• Experience resolving financial and reporting issues in a timely and efficient manner
