Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.
Role
On-Demand Decisioning (ODD) is an industry leading decisioning solution and the newest product in the Payment Resiliency suite of services. Our custom rules engine allows Mastercard to decision transactions on behalf of issuers at any time for any business reason, ensuring our customers can always approve the right transactions.
The Resiliency Solutions product team is seeking a product manager to oversee new customer enablement opportunities that surface from internal lead generation, customer support, Mastercard consulting engagements. This resource will work closely with data scientists as well as product and support teams across mastercard to identify and validate customer opportunities to optimize authorization performance through On-Demand Decisioning.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Act as a technical subject matter expert who can assess the viability of ODD opportunities
• Manage working relationships with internal partners, including product teams responsible for Mastercard's optimization tools such as Mastercard Early Detect Insights (MEDI), Mastercard Portfolio Advisor (MPA), and Vision
• Support customers who require technical assistance in rule authoring through the ODD application in Mastercard Connect.
• Work closely with the Business Engineering and Rule Strategy (BEARS) team to manage the implementation of bespoke custom ODD rules for issuers.
• Develop decisioning logic for ODD rule cartridges and templates
• Deliver training to customers and internal partners on the ODD User Interface
