Manager, Products and Solutions OverviewThe Digital Products and Solutions group's vision is to create a world beyond plastic through a combination of cutting-edge technology and strategic partnerships. We aim to deliver best-in-class experiences for consumers across channels and devices, empowering merchants to connect with users in new, innovative ways. We work closely with banks, fintech's, merchants, and ecosystem enablers to build and scale digital commerce solutions.
Role
We are looking for a Manager – Products and Solutions who will be instrumental in driving our digital product strategy across South Asia, including India and Area countries.
This role requires the candidate to:
Own the day-to-day management of digital products, with a focus on tokenization, wallets, and evolving processing mandates from payment schemes.
Lead end-to-end delivery of digital enablement projects, including product definition, stakeholder management, go-to-market, and post-launch enhancements.
Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including account teams, issuers, acquirers, fintech's, and processors to align on product strategy and execution.
Provide subject matter expertise on tokenized transactions, in-app provisioning, secure remote commerce (SRC), and contactless digital form factors.
Be fully conversant with global and local scheme mandates around tokenization, processing, and fraud mitigation, and interpret them into actionable deliverables.
Understand and contribute to Mastercard's evolving strategy around the four-party model in India, including market structure shifts, regulatory changes, and ecosystem dynamics.
Drive enablement and monetization of digital experiences through Mastercard Gateway and low-cost acceptance platforms.
Develop product training, pricing constructs, and go-to-market tools to support regional sales and account teams.
Track performance metrics, report progress, and continuously optimize the roadmap based on feedback and data insights.
Provide market intelligence and competitive benchmarking, particularly for India and surrounding Area countries (e.g., Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives).
All about you
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in digital payments, product management, or solutions design, merchant side exposure preferred.
Proven expertise in tokenization, wallets, and scheme-level processing mandates, with a track record of delivering projects in these domains.
Strong understanding of India's payments ecosystem, regulatory landscape, and evolving four-party model.
Exposure to digital product strategies in Area countries is a strong plus.
Experience in launching and scaling products by working cross-functionally across tech, sales, and operations teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including comfort in executive-level discussions.
Highly analytical and solution-oriented with a bias for execution and measurable impact.
Agile mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
Comfortable with occasional travel across the South Asia region.
