Title and Summary
Manager, Strategic Product Management OverviewThe Global Portfolio Optimization (GPO) team leads a transformative, data-informed effort to help Mastercard issuer partners drive cardholder engagement and business growth. By identifying and scaling impactful portfolio strategies, we empower customers to increase activation, usage, spend, and other key performance outcomes. Our programmatic approach, combined with Mastercard's unmatched data and insights, ensures that value delivery is measurable, repeatable, and always evolving.
We're looking for a Manager, Strategic Product Management to take a leading role in shaping how we measure success across GPO engagements worldwide. This role will define and evolve our global measurement strategy—ensuring that impact is quantified, learnings are shared, and opportunities for continuous improvement are captured and acted on. You'll collaborate across regions and teams to bring clarity, consistency, and insight to our optimization efforts. Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end strategy for measuring the impact of GPO engagements globally—designing clear metrics, dashboards, and frameworks that tell a compelling story of progress and value.
• Serve as the go-to partner for all measurement-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and broader business goals.
• Manage a high-performing Data & Analytics team, overseeing prioritization and delivery while championing accuracy, storytelling, and operational excellence.
• Partner with regional GPO leads, Marketing Services (MS), Core Payments, D&A, and other cross-functional teams to align on KPIs and drive adoption of measurement standards.
• Maintain proactive, high-impact communication with stakeholders—ensuring transparency, accountability, and action.
• Develop strategic dashboards and insight presentations to support leadership decisions and drive strategic alignment across the business.
• Define and own the roadmap for our PO Measurement dashboard in partnership with D&A and technical teams—ensuring the tool evolves with the needs of the business.
• Support GPO enablement by translating insights into materials that empower sales and delivery teams.
• Continuously seek ways to scale measurement capabilities, streamline reporting, and improve the efficiency and consistency of our approach.
• Act as a global ambassador for measurement best practices—sharing learnings and promoting repeatable success across regions.

About You
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field required; advanced degree a plus.
• 7+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in product management, strategy, analytics, or marketing—ideally in a global, cross-functional setting.
• A natural project manager with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
• Demonstrated leadership experience—able to connect business needs with data strategy and guide technical teams to deliver.
• Strong communicator and influencer—comfortable working across functions and geographies with clarity, credibility, and a sense of urgency.
• Confident in using, PowerPoint, Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); SQL skills a plus.
• Resourceful, proactive, and energized by solving complex problems in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Mastercard systems (QMR, Enterprise Reporting, Cubes, Test & Learn) is a plus.
• Understanding of cardholder behavior and core payments metrics is an asset.
• A team-oriented mindset and a positive, can-do attitude are essential.
