Overview
Increasingly, companies and consumers are taking action against the impacts of climate change. At Mastercard, we have an opportunity to leverage our technology to make it simple and convenient for them to do so.
There is increasingly strong sentiment in society to take action against the impacts of climate change, and we must leverage our technology to make it simple and convenient for individuals to do so. Through existing and emerging products, we can inform consumers about the carbon footprint of their purchases to make mindful spending choices. Our Carbon Calculator solution, powered by Doconomy's Aland Index, offers consumers such a way to approach environmentally friendly spending by supplying them with actionable climate information and support. Our capabilities also support the successful progress of our flagship forest reforestation program - the Priceless Planet Coalition (PPC). Mastercard is also exploring the evolving landscape of carbon markets, in alignment with its own corporate sustainability strategy

We continue to enhance and scale our Sustainability Solutions assets, identifying and developing differentiating features to maintain our competitive advantage, with a focus on what will drive value for our customers and partners.
