Title and Summary

Manager, Technical Program Manager Overview
The Decision Management Program (DMP) is an internal product suite that enables intelligent decisions for market facing products. This program provides sophisticated, industry-leading intelligence with a range of capabilities that structure and apply complex business logic across the payment journey and beyond to inform and accelerate decisions at scale. This is achieved by leveraging supercomputing capabilities, AI technologies, a streaming big data cluster, high speed in-memory data caching, APIs, & UIs to enrich data and provide real-time decisions.

Role
• Lead a global team of individual contributors who are conceptualizing, rationalizing, and driving multiple simultaneous projects to deliver engineering work
• Drive overall release management strategy and teams inside and outside of your organization to deliver the expected results
• Build and cultivate strong internal relationships
• Manage escalations
• Actively encourage the development of your technical staff
• Learning performance improvement management and holds team members accountable for performance
• Secures resources, scopes efforts, outlines priorities and establishes delivery milestones
• Optimizes previously defined approaches for a team or limited area. Can demonstrate improvements using data. Utilizes department mechanisms (i.e. retrospectives, staff meetings, status meetings) to describe and drive continuous improvements

All About You
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record in technical program management, with hand on experience in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects, release management and programs, with both Product and Engineering driven initiatives.
• Experience with tools such as Aha, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and DOMO.
• Proven track record of data driven decision making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams, improving release management processes
• Experience in an Agile environment and delivery methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
