Title and Summary
Managing Consultant - Business Experimentation, Advisors & Consulting Services Advisors & Consulting ServicesServices within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing their product portfolio, revenue and optimizing productivity. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Business Experimentation team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Business Experimentation consultants are at the forefront of driving strategic decisions with Mastercard's state-of-the-art predictive analytics SaaS platform, Test & Learn®. They collaborate with clients to uncover hidden opportunities, design innovative experiments, and rigorously test ideas to reveal their true potential and optimal implementation strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Client Impact
· Lead client engagements across a range of industries and problem statements
· Lead strategic programs and engagements for regional and global clients by leveraging data science tools including Test & Learn® to drive business impact for clients as well as Mastercard
· Own key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders and independently assess client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness to create the best suitable project roadmap
· Provide strategic guidance to maximize business impact with relevant use cases and combine it with analytical subject matter expertise to drive client success through Test & Learn® adoption and competency
Team Collaboration & Culture
· Lead the team to generate creative insights and sound business recommendations using Test & Learn®, delivering impactful client presentations while fostering the growth of team members' roles and skills.
· Provide strong analytical leadership and oversee day-to-day project delivery, creating a collaborative and inclusive environment for team members at all levels.
· Collaborate effectively with internal Mastercard stakeholders, including Product and Business Development, to scope projects, develop relevant solutions for clients, and contribute to the firm's intellectual capital.
· Design and lead on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship to junior consultants, ensuring their professional development and growth.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications
· Undergraduate degree with experience in strategy consulting or analytics consulting roles
· Experience in leading teams across multiple projects
· 5-10 of experience managing senior client relationships
· 5-10 years of experience in identifying and scoping new business development opportunities
· Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable)
· Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs
Preferred qualifications
· MBA or master's degree with relevant specialization (not required)
· Relevant industry expertise in banking or retail domain
· Additional relevant data and analytics experience in data modeling platform like Python or database management (e.g., SQL), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
