Overview:
Mastercard Operations Resilience team within ONE, is responsible for driving firm's operational resilience. ONE Operational Resilience office is at the center of driving the resiliency of Mastercard products by implementing operational resilience standards; including analysis, tracking and delivery. It includes leveraging tools like FMEA and Blast radius. We Mastercard Operations resilience team, work with various product owners and help improve product resiliency through evaluation, priotization and tracking high risk items.

Role:
This person will work within Operations Resilience team and partner with various Mastercard internal teams from Mastercard Critical Service (1A and 1B) to proactively identify failure modes.
• The role will require driving cross-functional collaboration including meetings with product owners, IDE, BizOps, customer support, and other relevant Infrastructure teams to understand the failure modes and reasons.
• Help product and program owners make data-driven decision to prioritize mitigating actions based on potential failure impact criticality.
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and buy-in for resilience initiatives.
• Track and report on progress including key metrics Communicate effectively with management across functions on the progress, road blocks, and set expectations.
• Learn and develop basic understanding of applications architecture and process flows
• Train & assist application teams in building reliable & accurate FMEA documents for their application

All About You:
• Basic understanding of Operations Resiliency concepts
• Strong understangin of indusry stndard FMEA practices and related tools
• Strong understanding of indusry stndard Blast radius practices and related tools
• Data analytics to make data driven analysis of failure points and resiliency improvements
• Effective project management skills to produce analysis summary and templates for technology management consumption
• Effective collaborating skills across diverse functions and technology products teams across multiple regions
• Technical capabilities to understand the complexity of various applications and upstream or downstream systems interactions including shared services and underlaying infrastructure
• Strong understanding of distributed platform, network and routing & systems
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and alerting
• Strong understanding of Incident and problem management including KPIs, SLAs

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
