The Position:
The Customer Engagement & Delivery team is looking to grow our Research function for handling the Research, Validation and Testing of subscription merchants. Our Product Operation Specialists excel in collecting deep secondary data, ensuring the quality of data collected, validating the data and testing through primary research to ensure it meets quality. This data would be used to drive the product, and it is critical for the success of the company, hence this is a high-visibility, high-impact role.

Role:
● The ideal candidate has research experience in finance, professional services, technology, information or media or related industries
● The candidate has a good understanding of the subscription merchants and the payment landscape in Brazil.
● The candidate has a strong interest in collecting, synthesizing and analyzing information from multiple sources
● The candidate has an ability to work within a fast-growing organization and work on multiple projects with tight timelines.
● The candidate has a strong attention to detail and high bar for quality when delivering work.

Requirements:

● Minimum of 3 years of work experience in secondary or primary research roles
● Experience over a range of research projects is welcome
● You have a degree level education
● Comfortable with collaboration tools Microsoft suite include MS Teams, OneDrive, and Word/Excel/PowerPoint
● Comfort with speaking, reading and writing Brazilian Portuguese
● Strong communication skills in English and Brazilian Portuguese
● Should be operationally creative, solution-oriented, self-motivated, and persistent

Responsibilities:

● Research global B2C subscription merchants
● Validate the research based on internal standard operating procedures and methods.
● Testing the details collected during the research phase, including signing up for subscriptions, performing actual cancellations through email,chat and phone, noting the merchant responses and thinking on your feet to improve success rates.
● Reporting progress to Research lead and communicating with the head of data on milestones achieved
● Ensure that the required data is collected, transformed and made available for our internal teams and/or external partners.
● Supporting senior stakeholders in other “quick wins” for key business outcomes in Finance, Product, Sales and Customer Success.
● Contribute to simple and innovative ways to ingest, transform, store and analyze various data sources.
● Provide recommendations for enhancements of testing data specifications, processes and products.
● Clearly document findings, procedures, and recommendations.
● Be the subject matter expert on all subscription merchants within the market
