Overview
The Cyber Secure team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive our technical initiatives forward. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing high-quality software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring our products are up-to-date with the latest technologies. We're looking for someone who is passionate about innovation, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Role
• Deliver analysis on technical solutions
• Supporting development teams to understand user journeys and translate to technical journeys and architectural diagrams.
• Work closely with technical leads for assigned projects to assist in design and implementation tasks
• Assist with production support issues by acting as a subject matter expert in resolving incidents and problem tickets.

All About you

Responsibilities
• Participate in the scoping, design, and implementation of complex features.
• Design and implement intuitive, responsive UIs that enhance data understanding and analytics.
• Drive performance, reliability, and readability in the codebase through writing and reviewing code.
• Mentor junior software engineers and teammates.
• Innovate improvements to team development processes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Customer Experience Designers to understand user needs and apply that knowledge to scoping and building new modules and features.
• Work closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to find optimal solutions.

Skills/experience
• Experience with the design and implementation of complex features in full-stack applications
• Experience working in a large project and working with other developers
• Proficiency with Java, React, Typescript, and Oracle Databases or other object-oriented languages, front-end frameworks, and/or relational database technologies
• Strong technologist eager to learn new technologies and frameworks
• Customer-centric development approach
• Strong collaboration skills with experience collaborating with people across various roles around the globe
• Motivation, creativity, self-direction, and desire to thrive on small project teams
• Superior academic record with a degree in Computer Science or related technical field

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
