Overview:

This position is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. You must live within 30 minutes of Peterborough to be considered for this position.

This role will be responsible for providing management of process improvement & optimization of all the operational processes undertaken by the MPMS UK Settlement teams. This includes the ability to build solutions to resolve process gaps, encourage automation and maintain efficiencies within the operational teams.

Prepaid Management Services (MPMS) is the division of Mastercard that concentrates on prepaid solutions such as our Multi-Currency Cash Passport product. Traditionally focused on the travel sector, our business is driving forward prepaid card programs throughout the world with innovative and leading solutions that we integrate with global brands.
The ideal candidate is personable, highly motivated, analytical and will embrace learning about MPMS to complement their business process improvement experience.

Key Accountabilities:

• Creating and implementing process improvements designed to deliver solutions to maintain efficiency, quality, and timeliness of daily UK Settlement operations.
• Leads initiatives to develop, or enhance, system functionality and reporting.
• Ensures process improvements aligns with team processes and are maintained to meet service and quality standards.
• Provide operational support as needed to Directors Settlement Operations and the wider operational team as required.

Core Skills:

• Work experience in operations or business process improvement
• Demonstrated strong technical and operational business acumen.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work with complex multi-faceted issues
• Ability to influence and drive effective decision making
• Must be self-motivated and a strong team player that can function with minimal direction, basing actions on established policy
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact, communicate and navigate effectively across various levels of Settlement team.
• Ability to perform successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities and assignments concurrently.
• Advanced MS Office skills (primarily Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) including ability to create operational macros.
• Ability to quickly understand, assess, simplify, and articulate technical challenges/solutions.
• Position requires flexible business hour availability to meet the demands of a global organization with 24/7 operations.
