Title and Summary

Senior Business Analyst – E-Invoicing (MCBS) Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in the continued implementation and optimization of e-invoicing capabilities within the enterprise billing system. This position is responsible for gathering business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring successful delivery of e-invoicing solutions that meet regulatory, operational, and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across Tax, Finance, Product, IT, and Operations to define e-invoicing needs and billing system enhancements.
• Analyze regulatory requirements for e-invoicing and ensure system changes comply with local and global mandates.
• Document business processes, workflows, and data flows related to e-invoicing and billing corrections.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and project managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of system changes.
• Conduct feasibility analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-production validation for new e-invoicing features.
• Facilitate strategy meetings and workshops to align upstream and downstream process changes required for e-invoicing initiatives.
• Monitor project milestones, KPIs, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory deadlines.
• Provide ongoing support for billing event maintenance, corrections, and audit requests related to e-invoicing.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance billing accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and training materials for stakeholders and end users.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in billing, payments, or financial systems.
• Strong understanding of e-invoicing regulations, billing system architecture, and financial operations.
• Experience with requirements documentation, process mapping, and UAT.
• Proficiency in billing software (e.g., MCBS, Salesforce, Remedy, ALM) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power Suite, Alteryx).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience with regulatory projects and system implementations is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in payments industry, fintech, or shared service organizations.
• Familiarity with order-to-cash and order-to-collect processes.
• Knowledge of automation, data analytics, and process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to lead workshops, governance councils, and drive consensus across diverse teams.
