Title and Summary

Senior Specialist, Implementation Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Implementation Project Manager to lead customer-facing electronic payment processing projects. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating complex implementations, and ensuring seamless integration of Mastercard's payment systems including API-based solutions. If you have a strong background in payment processing, project management, and API integration, and are fluent in English, French, and Arabic, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and Mastercard representatives throughout the end-to-end execution of projects implementation.
• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of standard to complex implementation activities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Assess customer requirements and document impacts on Mastercard's core and non-core processing systems, including API-based integrations.
• Define project scope, develop detailed implementation plans, and manage timelines using Mastercard's global project coordination methodology.
• Coordinate internal and external resources, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage multiple customer implementation projects simultaneously.
• Facilitate customer onboarding, host interface testing, certification, and go-live support.
• Provide expert guidance on Mastercard's APIs.
• Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise
• Strong background in Information Technology, with knowledge of network infrastructure, system architecture, and application development.
• Proven experience with API integration.
• Familiarity with API testing tools.
• Understanding of data formats such as JSON and XML in payment environments.
Industry Knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of electronic payment transaction processing, including authorization, clearing, and settlement.
• Strong understanding of Mastercard's processing systems, message formats, and host interface testing services.
• Familiarity with the four-party model and Mastercard's transaction lifecycle.
Project Management
• Experience managing complex projects in matrixed organizations.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to manage change and adapt to evolving customer needs.
Communication & Collaboration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Experience delivering training and presentations to technical and business audiences.
Personal Attributes
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and passion for continuous learning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Language Requirements
• Fluent in English (required)
