Title and Summary

Senior Vice President, Engineering Digital Marketing Programs Overview
Mastercard is a leading global brand, with the customer and the experience at the center of all that we do. As the SVP of Global Digital Marketing Engineering, you will lead a team of digital technology professionals to deliver re-imagined end to end marketing infrastructure and capabilities in partnership with the Integrated Marketing Capabilities organization. You will drive our end-to-end digital transformation, leveraging emerging technologies and data-driven insights to create personalized and engaging customer experiences across all channels and touchpoints. You will also collaborate with leaders across the organization to align technology with business objectives and priorities, and to ensure the quality, security, and efficiency of the solutions built.

Role
As the SVP of Global Digital Marketing Engineering, you will be responsible for:
• End-to-end technical leadership, from design and implementation to launch and management, of a complex global ecosystem of digital marketing solutions.
• Strategic business perspective, anticipating key marketplace trends, opportunities, and vulnerabilities, and representing how technology may enable them to senior management.
• Deep understanding of how emerging technologies, such as big data, analytics, machine learning, and low code/no code, relate to the world of digital marketing and customer experience.
• Experience leading web development and web content management initiatives in support of digital marketing organizations.
• Ensuring adoption of modern software development practices, including secure SDLC, test automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Articulating broader business concerns and/or regulatory landscape, including key risks and controls (e.g., GDPR, MIFID, SOX).
• Partnering closely with product management to define the roadmaps, develop and deliver on new services to address market and customer needs.
• Establishing regular reporting, progress against goals, tracking of KPIs and various metrics to share with senior leadership and business unit executives.
• Accountable for the quality, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), maintainability and security of the solutions built.
• Talent leadership, coaching team members to their maximum potential by providing objective and actionable career guidance and opportunities, identifying talent gaps, recruiting and retaining high quality technology talent.

You are a confident and effective communicator, able to work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with all members of the organization to define and achieve holistic business and technical objectives. You have a strong stakeholder management across teams and levels. You have a sense of urgency, excel under pressure, and are passionate about creating a positive, productive culture. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
