Title and Summary
Software Engineer II Cyber Security Services teams develop new capabilities for Mastercard's fraud prevention platform. Our industry-leading platform processes billions of transactions per month with execution times literally 10X faster than you can blink. To enable us to uphold the high standard of these fraud and security applications we are looking for out-of-the-box thinkers to play a critical role in the upkeep and continual health of these products.You will work as part of an Agile development team. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented engineer with strong leadership and communication skills. Role
• Work with a talented team of developers and test engineers to develop high performance, high volume Java based applications using Spring boot and Micro-Services architecture in Cloud based environment
• Develop both back and front end applications
• Take ideas to production
• Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency with automations
The ideal candidate would have the following skills:
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related applicable experience
• Web Services – REST/XML.
• J2EE Web Application/Web Services with JBoss & WebSphere.
• Knowledge of Spring and developing Microservices
• Familiar with API development
• Knowledge of React (preferable) or Angular
• Cloud Development experience – PCF, AWS, Azure,
• Self-motivated with the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal direction
• Experience working with continuous integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Chef, Cruise Control etc.
• Experience working with code coverage and health reporting tools such as Sonar.
