Title and Summary

Software Engineering Manager Overview
We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our Dual-Message Authorization organization located in the O'Fallon Tech Hub.
• Are you a people manager with experience working on high performance scaled applications?
• Do you want to lead and grow a high performing Agile team responsible for a system which is the core of our business?

Role
Lead a team in designing and developing highly technical solutions and to meet business requirements.
Promote strong engineering principles, processes, and best practices.
Provide strong people leadership and technical guidance to team.
Work closely with directors, PMTs, TPMs, technical leads and architects to align on priorities.
Foster a growth culture to build and develop a cross-functional team.

All About You
Proven track record of developing a high performing cross functional software delivery team.
A strong technical leader who can effectively communicate with a broad variety of stakeholders.
A leader with a growth and improvement mindset who can engage and motivate a development team.
Experience working with highly scalable, reliable, maintainable, performant and secure applications.
Familiarity with software delivery skills such as: Agile, User Stories, Pair Programming, Test-Driven Development. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
