Vice President, Account Management Merchant Overview:

The VP, Merchant Account Management role, will be a key contributor as a leader in driving revenue objectives within the existing Ethoca merchant portfolios. This individual will help shape the merchant account strategy, together with the Ethoca merchant leadership team. This role reports to the Vice President of Global Business Development.

Role
The VP of Merchant Account Management will have responsibility for the Ethoca Merchant Accounts in both the NAM and Europe region. This individual will have a proven track record of strong collaboration both internally and externally. They will have impressive experience leading and executing enterprise merchant deals and account strategy. In addition, a track record of developing, growing and optimizing top-tier enterprise merchants within the payment's ecosystem. More specifically, the ideal candidate will:

• Lead a high-performing, experienced merchant account team located in NAM and Europe.
• Have a strong commercial mind-set focused on growing, optimizing, and expanding existing enterprise merchant accounts
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve merchant account management targets.
• Accountable for deepening and strengthening customer relationships and driving overall customer satisfaction
• Leverage Mastercard relationships and market incentives to upsell and expand new products and revenue within existing merchant accounts.
• Work with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure full support on implementation and ongoing customer service on all products and solutions.
• Collaborate with the customers to establish and execute annual business planning and quarterly reviews to establish, monitor and report progress against joint objectives.
• Reporting to Ethoca VP, Merchant Sales, the successful candidate will work closely with both the Ethoca and Mastercard teams to sell, implement and optimize Ethoca's solutions within the existing merchant portfolios.
• Serve as an ambassador for Ethoca at industry tradeshows and networking events, positioning Ethoca as a business partner, thought leader, and trusted advisor.

About You:
• Deep experience in account planning, strategy and execution at senior levels.
• Possess a strong understanding of the Cyber Security and Consumer Experience market with the ability to quickly learn, understand and adapt to various adjacent technologies, ecosystems, and trends.
• Strong communication skills, both in the context of executive presentations and in written and oral communications.
• Able to execute against multiple initiatives and excel in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
•Ability to work with and navigate hybrid and matrixed organizational structures
Be a creative leader skilled in ideation through to commercialization; able to adapt the product offering to meet the merchant needs.
• Demonstrate courage to challenge the status quo. You are decisive, yet inclusive.
• Strong understanding of the issuer and merchant payments landscape.
