Title and Summary
Vice President, Deal Management, LAC (Background: FP&A │ Strategy │ M&A) OverviewThe Vice President, Deal Management is a senior finance leader responsible for overseeing the end-to-end deal process across the LAC region, supporting business growth and profitability through strategic deal structuring, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This role partners with business development, sales, and finance teams to drive successful customer agreements with issuers, acquirers, and merchants, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and compliance with global standards. This role will report into LAC CFO and will work closely with the LAC Head of Deal Management.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise business leaders on complex commercial deals, ensuring financial profitability, risk mitigation, and alignment with corporate strategy.
• Manage the deal approval process, coordinating with internal stakeholders to meet customer deadlines and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Drive optimal deal structures, performing rigorous financial analysis and scenario modeling to assess risk-return tradeoffs.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, regional, and local financial regulations, establishing robust review processes and governance controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, value creation, and shareholder wealth.
• Collaborate with business teams to develop and implement long-term strategies, identify growth opportunities, and support new product and geographic expansion.
• Enhance financial acumen across the business, providing training and guidance on business case modeling and financial implications.
All About you
• 10–15 years of finance experience in an international organization, with expertise in deal management, financial modeling, and business development.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with proven ability to influence at all levels in a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and ownership in managing multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills; able to lead stakeholders across cultures and functions.
• Strong leadership qualities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Full fluency in English; Spanish and Portuguese are a plus.
