Title and Summary

Vice President, Specialist Sales, Services Business Development Overview
This senior-level, quota-carrying managerial position leads the sales of Analytics Platforms and related products directly and through Services BD teams. The role focuses on business development and sales across Financial Institutions, Retailers, Telcos, Airlines, QSRs, and Governments in the Latin American region. You will be responsible for a team as well as for selling individually.

The Role:
• Drive business development to achieve or exceed the LAC Test & Learn budget, with potential responsibility for related analytics and data product revenue. Leverage a collaborative, solution-based selling approach to secure large, long-term contracts with high-value clients.
• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies that identify and capitalise on new business opportunities. Confidently present to and negotiate with senior decision-makers, ensuring persuasive communication throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver effective solutions and foster strong internal partnerships. Use data-driven insights to solve problems, inform discussions, and shape customer engagements.
• Represent the company in high-level meetings with executives and major clients, building trust and credibility. Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation through to deal closure, managing accurate regional sales forecasts and using trend analysis to drive proactive sales activities.
• Continuously analyse the market to pinpoint high-potential segments, providing actionable feedback to inform product development. Work closely with product management to identify and execute opportunities for expanding the current offering.
• Set clear, achievable sales targets for the team, maintaining a strong focus on surpassing regional revenue goals and supporting overall business growth.

About You
• Deep experience in SaaS or Consulting / analytics
• Deep experience in B2B sales, especially in consumer-facing sectors such as retail financial services, retail, restaurants, consumer goods, travel, or digital industries. A strong network of high-level contacts is beneficial.
• Skilled in building and growing relationships with top clients by understanding their needs and providing expert advice.
• Experience of working within a matrix organisation and influencing key internal stakeholders to drive business growth
• Capable of generating new business opportunities with minimal support.
• Experienced in managing revenue and setting sales targets.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Pay Ranges

Miami, Florida: $175,000 - $245,000 USD
