DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

THE DIVISION OF PUBLIC HEALTH, INFECTIOUS DISEASES AND OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE IS SEEKING CANDIDATES WITH EXPERTISE IN OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE AND TRANSPORTATION MEDICINE.

The Division of Public Health, Infectious Diseases, and Occupational Medicine (PHIDOM) is on a quest to recruit exceptional clinicians with expertise in Occupational Medicine, Transportation Medicine, and/or Hyperbaric Medicine, who are keen on or experienced in in digital health and AI technologies. At PHIDOM, we serve a varied patient demographic, including occupational populations such as healthcare workers, aviators and other transportation professionals, safety-sensitive workers and patients with complex health conditions impacting their ability to work. Our hyperbaric oxygen therapy team provides care to complex patients in our state-of-the-art facility. Renowned for our global clinical and research collaborations, partnerships with governmental bodies, national associations, and academic entities, we are dedicated to melding digital health and AI into healthcare. This commitment is aimed at not only enhancing patient outcomes but also propelling our research initiatives forward. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in providing specialized care to our diverse patient groups, including healthcare workers, cancer patients, those with serious infections, pilots, and transportation operators. Therefore, we are actively seeking outstanding clinicians who not only possess expertise in Occupational Medicine, Transportation Medicine and/or Hyperbaric Medicine but also have an interest or experience in digital health and AI tools. This expertise is crucial for advancing the care of our specialized populations. In this dynamic role, you will be part of a collaborative and collegial team, involved in patient care, teaching, and research in Occupational, Hyperbaric or Aerospace Medicine. You will support new and expanding programs dedicated to these specialized populations. Your contribution will not only involve traditional clinical practices but also the integration and application of digital health and AI technologies to enhance patient outcomes and advance our research endeavors. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Preventive Medicine (Aerospace Medicine and/or Occupational Medicine). Additional board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is preferred. Interest in academic pursuits including peer-reviewed publications and practice innovations centered around artificial intelligence or machine-based learning is also encouraged.
