General Summary of Position
Is responsible and accountable for the provision of quality patient care and customer services on a defined patient care unit. Acts as a role model and coach in assuring the teamÆs commitment and success in improving patient outcomes. Leads, coaches, and develops staff while also providing direct patient care. Facilitates team integration and the transition to Patient-Centered Care. Collaborates with the Manager - Patient Care Services.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Valid RN license in the State of Maryland. required and
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
- 1-2 years 2 years related clinical experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Valid RN license in the State of Maryland. required and
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Advanced level RN.
- Management, organization, and leadership skills.
- Analytical skill/ability to interpret statistical and financial reports, design control mechanisms, and monitor program performance.
- Ability to direct, coordinate and manage independent decision consistent with hospital policies/procedures/standards.
- Communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve customer relation problems.
- Analytical ability to identify and resolve operational problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
This position has a hiring range of $89,065 - $162,801
