Inpatient Pediatric Transplant APP Opportunity - MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

We are looking for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient Pediatric Transplant team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute is one of the largest liver transplant centers in the nation, with more than 100 transplants a year. We transplant patients faster than any other center in the region.
This role will include direct patient care, admissions, assessing, diagnosing, interpreting diagnostic information, discharge planning and post-operative care. This provider will work full-time, 10 hr. shifts including holidays and weekends.
The ideal candidate will have previous transplant experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Training
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experience
- License/Certification/Registration
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
