General Summary of Position
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is looking for a Program Coordinator II in the Transplant- Liver Acquisition department. The Program Coordinator II at a senior level, performs a variety of administrative and secretarial duties to facilitate the management of the operational and personnel activities for the department.

Primary Duties
First point of contact for internal and external inquiries. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, visitors, and all levels of personnel, stakeholders and leadership.
Provides administrative support for the department to include, but not limited to: calendar updates, scheduling of appointments, incoming phone calls, mail and package management, incoming and outgoing fax requests, managing and organizing hard and soft copy files.
Typing and editing of internal, administrative and external correspondences in a timely and accurate manner
Manage the flow of procedural orders, images and other documents that require administration and follow through on the completion of required workflow.
Manages schedules for varied functions including, but not limited to staff, patients, students, providers, leadership
Develops and maintains informational documents and materials for distribution to patients, customers
May organize and coordinate special events, projects for the department, to include schedule and invitations, materials, logistics, budgeting, catering.
Maintains and enters data into various databases and systems
May serve as the on-site department personnel coordinator completing task such as access and security, building maintenance, IT resource coordination, equipment requisition and ordering.
May be responsible for the running, and management and review of various reports and queries for use and distribution inside and outside of the department.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Health related field, Required.
Minimum 5 years' of related administrative experience, Required.
Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent writing and editing skills.
Demonstrates sound judgement and ability to think, act and make decisions independently.
Strong public relations, finance, operational, and organizational skills necessary.
Excellent knowledge of word processing, computer graphics, and spreadsheet software(s).
