General Summary of Position
Functions as an Operations Administrator for designated entities assigned. The incumbent in this position is responsible for the personnel, facilities, services, provider-payer relations, coordination, training, reporting management, and patient experience service recovery and results. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Health's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare/Business required
- Master's degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
- One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience
- 4 years of directly related management experience preferred in a medical practice required
- One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
Licenses and Certifications
- No special certification, registration or licensure required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Considerable knowledge of modern office procedures, practices, and equipment.
- Good knowledge of (instructional) accounting principles and practices.
- Background in the terminology of the department is desirable.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting policies and procedures.
- Ability to plan, assign, review work and supervise.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
- Organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time.

This position has a hiring range of $80,995 - $152,027
