Overview:

 

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Pharmacist to join our hospital team. This role works closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based medication therapy for our patients. The Clinical Pharmacist serves as a vital drug information resource and contributes to optimal patient outcomes through collaborative care and clinical expertise.

 

This position performs duties in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

 

Mercy Pittsburg, KS Hospital Location 

**Part-Time - 32 hours per week**


Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • PGY-1 residency
    • Two or more years of clinical pharmacy experience
    • Board certification (e.g., BCPS)
  • Required Education: Minimum: Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Preferred Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Licensure: Current pharmacist license in the state of practice
  • Other: 
    • Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
